OS X V10.7 Lion :: Uninstall A Printer Driver?

In the office where I work with my Mac there's a Canon copier/scanner model iR2318. Months ago I downloaded and installed the Lion compatible drivers required that worked fine. Yesterday (with no reason, no changes, nothing at all: just working) the printer started to refuse to print as it asked for a different paper format: A4 or Letter. Despite many attempts to specifically send print jobs in A4, which is the paper format loaded in the tray, the printer continued to refuse all prints.Today I ended up removing the printer from the list, as it became unnecessary, and I also liked to uninstall the printer driver as well, since Canon released a newer version.Currently, when trying to reinstall the printer, 2 drivers are displayed: UK and US. This lets me assume that those 2 drivers are still installed in my system: I wanted to remove both of them and start from scratch by reinstall the driver and he printer as the system was new. How can I remove the driver, so that Lion won't recognize it and that I could make a clean install of the previous working printer?

I use an old HP Laserjet 3200 that I've owned since they first came out. It has worked wonderfully for years and years. The first time I had to print something on my MacBook Pro, I was surprised that it was effortless. The printer was automatically recognized and my print job went without a hitch. The next time I used Software Update I got a driver update for the HP Laserjet 3200. I thought, wow, these guys are really on the ball.
I just used the printer one time and they already know I need the updated driver. But the new driver's screwed everything up and instead of getting the perfect print job I got before, the printer just starts throwing out blank pages. Is there any way to un-install this one software update of this one driver? It arrived by itself, nothing else with it, and it's in my list of updates specifically referencing the HP Laserjet 3200.

I have just bought a new MacBook Pro 13 (with Intel CPU), and I'm trying to set up my MBox 2, which came with Pro Tools 8 LE (m-powered).I'm getting the error message: 'Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click 'Ok' when the hardware is ready.'The USB socket's light on the MBox 2 does not light up, although the other lights are on as normal.I know this is a widely-encountered issue, and I think it is because this software is not compatible with OS X Lion but I have tried several things so far to isolate the problem:1) Have connected the MBox 2 to my Dell Window 7 laptop using the SAME USB cable and it works perfectly (suggesting the USB cable is okay and the USB socket on the MBox 2 is okay).2) Have tried installing the software and drivers from the Installation CD which came with the MBox 2 onto my MacBook three times, in case there was a problem with the installation. This is the same Installation CD I used to install them onto my Dell laptop which did work using the MBox and Pro Tools 8 LE setup (which suggests that the problem is either with the contents of the CD not being compatible or up to date for the MacBook Pro 13 / OS X Lion 10.7.03, or that there is another problem I need to address with one of these three devices/components)3) I have installed the later drivers for Pro Tools 9 (I believe it was for 9.0.6), although I don’t own the Pro Tools 9 software, so this is a newer driver being applied to my Pro Tools 8 LE software. After I did this, the MBox 2’s USB light DID come on!But… when I then tried to open Pro Tools 8 LE, I got an error: “CRITICAL ERROR - PRO TOOLS NEED TO BE REINITIALIZED” Then when I rebooted, each time I opened Pro Tools it said: 'Pro Tools LE 8 has shut down unexpectedly. Please retry…”Could someone tell me if my set up is compatible please? Can a MacBook Pro 13 running OS X Lion 10.07.03 ever operate with a MBox 2 and Pro Tools LE 8?If so, what do I need to do in order to resolve this - is it simply that I need to power on the devices in a specific order?

OS X V10.7 Lion :: Sending Duplicate Emails Using Mail And MBox For Mac

I have been sending duplicate emails inadvertently recently. It seems it's when I use mBox for mac (registered copy) in Mail to use my Hotmail with IMAP. I hadn't noticed it at first, but now I see every time I send a mail I get 2 copies in my sent box. I can turn off the store sent messages on server option to fix it (but that's the whole point of having IMAP!). Or I can turn off mBox for mac and it also seems to work (but then I can't use IMAP!).
I've also tried on the same machine from gmail, and iCloud accounts (MobileMe), and I had no issue at all. I've also tried 2 different Hotmail accounts, and both of them send double messages every time I send. I think anyone still using a hotmail account will eventually install something like mBox for mac if they've gone Mac recently - as I have. I checked the mail headers of the 2 mails, and they are quite different (masked where appropriate) -

Now that the problem has been resolved and I want to import those mbox folders back into my iMail (which is running my Gmail accounts) I am not able.
I use the File-Import function and follow the steps. It looks like it is working but after the import the files and the folder are not there.

I have several local .mbox files created with the Apple Mail client from 10.6.8 saved 'on my Mac' after doing a clean install of Yosemite I am having trouble getting them to import. One is ~5GB the other is ~2.5 GB. a smaller one (66MB) with 300 items fails to fully import (gets only ~170 items).Â
Is there a better way to force the new mail client to read these or is there another mail program that can read these? These are important emails.
