As with all of our monthly events, we’ve created a new set of challenges for you to complete over the course of the next two weeks, as well as exclusive profile icons, new visual mods, and even a new cheat code to spice up your time in the campaign. On top of all this, the team has built a new challenge scenario—the Barbarossa Brawl—to test your skills: a holdout where you’ll defend against increasingly more challenging waves of enemies over time. See how long you can last and make your mark on the leaderboard of your friends!
All of this is a part of THE TEUTONS CIV CELEBRATION EVENT:
Age of Empires II, a real-time strategy (RTS) game first released two decades ago, is enjoying a revival thanks to a Definitive Edition remaster.A lot has been reworked, including artwork.

Each of the following challenges must be unlocked in order and on separate days:

| DAY 3 | 🔒 Win a Standard or Multiplayer game while playing as the Teutons 🧱 [Mod] Unlocks a Cheatcodeto replace all of the player’s Infantry units with Elite Teutonic Knight units. |
| DAY 4 | 🔒 Survive the Teuton Challenge for 20 minutes 🏆 Unlocks the Siege Tower filled with Teutonic Knights profile icon. |
| DAY 5 | 🔒 Capture a relic in the Teuton Challenge 🧱 [Mod] Onagers throw Pretzels instead of rocks. |
New Scenario!
The celebration continues with the Barbarossa Brawl: a new challenge scenario based on the original Barbarossa campaign. Defend your Town Center against impossible odds for as long as possible, then find new ways to increase your score and top your friends on the leaderboard!

- I did every challenges, just stand alive 30 min is missing.
- Hi, I struggled with this challenge for about a week. I searched through the community for an easy fix. I even saw a few YouTube videos but none of them worked. Yesterday, I tried again and I was able to survive for 21 minutes. Here's a breakdown of what I did. 1) Build your 2nd TC to your west between the stone and the gold mines and assign villagers to mine both with priority being stone 2) Send your scout to the Cuman mercenaries 3) Build two layers of houses surrounding your original TC with 2 layers of Palisade wall around them 4) Train TKs from your castle and garrison them 5) Build a market to send gold to the Cumans also build a stable and train a few knits 6) Assign villagers to build docks and build fireships - works both in the North and the South 7) Do not forget to keep gathering resources 8) Build 6 Castles surrounding your Palisade wall 9) Train pikemen or skirmishers and garrison them inside 10) The secret is to keep gathering resources till the timer shows 15 min, repair your castle now and then and unload knights or TKs to destroy trebuchets 11) When armies of blue and purple overwhelm, unleash your garrisoned forces to keep them distracted 12) Keep training forces 13) Garrison villagers if they cant gather resources This worked for me. Do not give up!!
- Day 5: For normal player 20 minutes is almost impossible to reach!! Would be nice to make it for everybody possible to finish the day 5 challenge.

I Played all 20x how much must i try it again and again please make it small easy…??? 16-17 minutes is it highest what i can i asked some of my friends and family members they have too highest minutes as me 16-17 minutes, 20 is much high for mostly players of this event… only the masters are good in what i see on youtube videos… PLEASE make that 20 minutes too 15 minutes??? DAY 5 :lock: Capture a relic in the Teuton Challenge :brick: [Mod] Onagers throw Pretzels instead of rocks. After 20 munites i think it about this how must i find this and how can i attacked the enemies they are much stonger than my army come on why make you a event so strong this is a game you give me not a money or gold in true life right so PLEASE MAKE IT EASY…??? - I concur. I tried about 12 times now, with and without cumans, imperial age, galleys, everything. Nothing gets me more than 18.5 mins. Far, far too hard for an average player.

- I hope that the team of Age of Empires II DE get make a isseu for day 5 and day 6 with this is very strong for mostly players to get the prise’s… I have friends and some family members and they have too problem with playing and winning the prise's...
- rush purple with all u have at the start of the challenge. fight their monastery with vills if you need to, run with the relic, ignore everything else. Delete your own TC -> get PRETZELS
- I barely made it to 20 mins. I just stayed in the castle age and built teutonic knights, and prayed. I've been trying to capture that relic, and that is actually impossible. It seems like you need 300 apm just to have a chance.
- I Try it and try it but there is no chance 15 minutes must be highest… 20 minutes is much strong for a normal AOE2DE Player
- units run away, it is impossible to play normally, when will fix this very serious error ???
